About Us
At Carabella's, we make strive to make beautiful baby and children's items and it all started three years ago when I was pregnant, expecting my first daughter. During this pregnancy, my husband and I wanted to help prepare our son, who was two years old at the time, for the new experience of having a sibling. We told him he was going to have a sister named Cara. Soon after she was born, he began referring to his sister as Carabella.
During the months that I was pregnant with Cara, I began looking for cute clothes and accessories for her. One afternoon, my mother, brought her sewing machine to my house and we began making personalized burp cloths and blankets for my little girl.
We made our first birthday dress a year later and started selling them on ebay. We've come a long way since then and are having a blast!
In addition to our three children, my husband and I are in the process of adopting a son from El Salvador. I started Carabella’s as a way to earn extra income to help defer the high costs involved with adoption. With God’s help and your loyal support, we have grown into a small business that makes and ships unique gifts all over the country!
At Carabella’s, we’ve worked hard over the last three years seeking out products that provide a unique and stylish look without compromising on quality. You’ll notice that we love polka dots and striped patterns, and we are continually adding new products to our list.
One thing that makes us unique among our competition is the fact that we will tailor gifts to your liking. In fact, many of the items you see on this website came about because creative gift givers had ideas and we made them work. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, send us an email. We’re almost always able to make what you want.
Most important, we believe that children are a gift from God, and it is so much fun to spend time working on special gifts for each little miracle. If you click on our “Giving” page, you’ll see that we have a special place in our heart for orphans. Carabella’s supports two precious children from Love and Hope Children’s Home in El Salvador and it is our hope to be able to sponsor many more in the years to come.
As always, we thank you for your patronage and support!
Jeni
